The KKIS Project, A.C. (Keeping Kids in School) is a US and Mexico charity based in Playa del Carmen dedicated to public education through financial assistance, community connections and educational support. School Supplies Program: Every year thousands of kids receive school supplies thanks to donors and sponsors. Scholarships: With this Program, KKIS is actually keeping kids in school. Public High School in Mexico is not free, which is why KKIS offers scholarships to students. English Conversation Club: Through this program, public high school students practice English with volunteers who visit their school 4 times a week. Community Connections: KKIS provides advisors, inspirational speakers, university discounts and employment opportunities. Advocacy: KKIS provides books for libraries, classroom basics, sponsorship of contests and fieldtrips.
