The college planning and application process should be an exciting time in a student’s life, however, the complexity of college admissions can often result in undue stress and frustration. Yvonne Espinoza has over 19 years of experience guiding students and families through this process in order to provide peace of mind and support, allowing for more transparency in the college application process and added time for students to enjoy the high school experience. Yvonne’s extensive professional expertise includes both high school college counseling and college admissions, and she also serves on the Board of Directors of the Colleges that Change Lives Organization. Her individualized and ethical approach to college counseling empowers students to successfully manage the process with more independence and confidence, while also having a dedicated, professional advocate at their side. Although Yvonne has clients who hire her at all stages of the college application process, including as late as October of Senior year, she can do more to help students to prepare, plan, and maximize their potential if more time is allotted for this process, and works with students as early as the 9th grade year.
