ALBA Asia Pvt. Ltd. is an Indo-French Joint-Venture. ALBA on its own and through its associates, manages bulk ports including coal terminals, fertilizer terminals and general cargo terminals. ALBA was founded in July 2009 as a Joint-Venture between STARPORT Logistics Limited and Louis Dreyfus Armateurs SAS.Current share holding ratio is 50:50. Since its inception, ALBA has handled more than 30 million tonnes of cargo. It is now amongst the most reputed cargo handlers in India. By End 2016, ALBA will have an installed capacity of over 40 million tonnes.
