TRANSFORMATIVE TEACH is an online, accessible platform to support educators - and ALL leaders - in ways to unpack their implicit bias in spaces with young people. Transformative Teach’s resources raise intergenerational conversations about policy change, teacher training, and student agency. Our resources have been compiled from multiple stakeholders (families, students, school staff, restorative justice counselors, and more) on what communities affected by the School-to-Prison-Pipeline want their teachers to know. TRANSFORMATIVE TEACH was founded to support our local Colorado community’s demand for just, culturally-relevant, compassionate teachers and leaders. We support underrepresented communities, organizations, school districts, and students through School-to-Prison-Pipeline prevention strategies and implicit bias trainings. TRANSFORMATIVE TEACH will be launching in Spring / Summer 2019.
