Fontana Group was established in 1956 as a workshop of mechanical and shearing processing; founded by Pietro Fontana it became a joint-stock company in 1980 with the entry of the second generation, defining its own vocation as a dies maker for the automotive field. The Fontana Group productive core business is nowadays represented by three main divisions: the engineering, the construction of dies and the stamping and assembling of steel and aluminium body in white for the most luxury cars: Audi, BMW, Jaguar, Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini, Maserati, Aston Martin, etc. Fontana Group is located in eleven Italian productive plants, a production plant in Istanbul and one other plant in Romania.
