Boconnoc is an award winning country house in South East Cornwall surrounded by hundreds of acres of park and woodland. After a twelve year restoration by Anthony and Elizabeth Fortescue and a small local team of skilled workers the house is now open as a retreat, wedding and event venue with accommodation for up to 40 on site. The project, which began in 2000 was completed in 2012 when it was awarded the HHA/Sotheby's Restoration Award and the Georgian Group Award for the Restoration of a Country Mansion. The house and grounds can accommodate anything from ten people for a small group meeting to product launches and large scale events for up to 15,000 people. There are miles of private roads and tracks for car rallies or test driving vehicles. The unique location of Boconnoc lends itself to fashion shoots and filming and is perfect for weddings. 110 guests can be seated in the house for your wedding breakfast with space for 240 with an additional marquee and the main house and surrounding cottages can sleep over 36 people with space for a yurt village. The house is also perfect to fill with eighteen friends for a weekend escape to beautiful and peaceful countryside.
