The CEEDD aims to be an interdisciplinary platform dedicated to environmental issues with an integrative approach. It is distinguished by the strong links it establishes between citizenship and sustainable development. It acts as a crossroads between the various local bodies dealing with these issues and aiming for international collaboration. As a place for reflection and training, a cornerstone of synergy for initiatives aimed at shaping the future of this small planet, this Chair – a pioneer in Lebanon – is dedicated to improving knowledge of socio-ecological issues. The CEEDD wants to rethink traditional development models. Each citizen will thus be able to grasp the complex, modern world in which they live and acquire the necessary attitudes, approaches, habits and knowledge to build a sustainable future. Our Mission: Committed to raise awareness, educate and produce knowledge around topics related to eco-citizenship and sustainable development, in order to enlighten citizens and co-responsible leaders, through 5 different intervention schemes: 1.
