Penney - Founder & Managing Principal Eric Penney has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience with a proven track record of adding value and for Clients, Landlords, Tenants and Investors. Eric holds a B.S in Business Administration from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. In college, he launched a successful sales career selling knives in a direct sales company while managing a large sales team. Additionally he founded the competition business club SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise) and competed in Division I football for four years. Early in his career, Eric learned the nuances complexities of lease documents while working for a lease auditing firm. He then leveraged his experience and client relationships into the world of leasing and brokerage services before joining a large NYC headquartered REIT in 2003. For the next 16 years Eric worked with the largest and most prominent REITs in the USA. He held multiple roles in leasing, development and redevelopment while cutting his teeth in small and large markets across the USA. He executed all types of transactions exceeding 3 million square feet and participated in nearly a thousand deals while creating billions of dollars of value for his firms and clients.
