Globally, >50 M people live with dementia (e.g., due to Alzheimer’s disease). Memory impairments, changes in behaviour and the ability to perform everyday activities - just a few struggles experienced by people with dementia. Most of the care for these people is provided by their family members. Aichom - building #1 Caregiver's library for everyone & offering smartwatch integration for families and caregivers of people with dementia. We seek to ensure the security, wellbeing, and the caregiver's peace of mind. Aichom will further help patients and caregivers by analysing the data generated and deriving meaningful conclusions from it on health status and behaviour. The Decade of Healthy Ageing (2020-2030) as defined by the World Health Organisation is an opportunity to bring together many sectors for ten years of concerted, catalytic and collaborative action to improve the lives of older people and their families.
