www.djeatc68.comThe International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 68 Denver Joint Electrical Apprenticeship Training Committee (DJEATC) trains people to be the leaders in the electrical industry. We provide training to apprentices to become Inside Wiremen, Residential Wiremen, and Voice/Data/Visual Technicians. Our apprenticeships train people through paid on-the-job training through our partner contractors and unpaid related classroom instruction. Apprentices learn from current or recently retired journeyman of the trade. Unlike college, an apprentice will always learn from someone who has performed these jobs. Apprenticeships offer low-cost career training with a career pathway without the burden of student debt. Apprentices earn while they learn and receive industry-recognized certifications. Our apprenticeship was founded in 1950 through a sponsorship of Rocky Mountain National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 68. We are registered through the US Department of Labor which ensures our curriculum is the best possible for apprentices to become successful in the electrical industry.
