100minds
www.100minds.org100minds is a social enterprise project founded in 2013, that brings together some of Ireland’s top third-level students with young professional mentors to achieve big goals and something really special for sick children in CHI at Crumlin, Temple Street and Connolly in a short space of time. It’s a unique opportunity for 100 ambitious young people looking to stand out from the crowd, who are up for a challenge, want to exercise their entrepreneurial muscles and come up with a unique fundraising project, activity or event to raise €1000 – or more! Every year the hugely successful initiative carefully selects 100 of the best and brightest undergraduates across the country to take part for this 100 day journey where they develop vital career skills through real, practical work experience and project management. To support them, we recruit a panel of recently graduated professional mentors who guide and direct their student mentees to their fundraising goals. Mentors also play a vital role by supporting students to develop their CVs, offering invaluable interview and career advice, providing coaching and networking. Over the years the programme has been fortunate to have amazing mentors from a range of high profile organisations including Twitter, Google, KPMG, Bank of Ireland, Arthur Cox, Daft.ie, BNY Mellon, Dalata Hotel Group, PWC, LinkedIn, Facebook, Salesforce, Accenture and many more. For the past five years 100minds has raised over €1.4 million for Irish children's charities and is an annual fundraiser to support sick children in CHI at Crumlin, Temple Street and Connolly.
