Currently serving souls in more than 1,000 prisons in the United States. "I was in prison and you came unto me...when you did it unto the least of these, you did it unto me" (Jesus words from Matthew 25:31-46). Last year many leather-bound Study Bibles were sent to individual prisoners on our Bible waiting list. We also provide newsletters, teachings, discipleship materials, and an annual Christmas card handwritten by 'the Friends of Heart Ministries" to our congregation of approximately 7,000 men and women behind bars. Many prisoners are imprisoned for lengthy periods and their Bible is their most cherished and most used possession. The enemy enters prison gates with pornography and many other dangers and distractions. Heart Ministries believes we are to provide sturdy, durable, first-class leather-bound Bibles that will last a lifetime and will equip our brothers and sisters in prison for spiritual battle.
