Sustainable South Brent initiates and supports projects and activities which aim to ensure sustainability in our community and environment. The organisation promotes and delivers actions, projects and initiatives that encourage public participation in helping to ensure the long term sustainability and character of the local area, at the same time increasing social cohesion and developing skill sets in the community. This means: - Meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs -Conserving and protecting the physical and natural environment, mitigating against the effects of climate change and impacting directly upon energy use.
