Formed in 1985 for the purpose of distributing a small selection of glass fibre cloths, the company grew to such a degree that in-house production of woven fabrics began at our Rochdale factory in 1996. Since then, we have pursued a policy of continual innovation and expansion which, eventually, necessitated a larger site. Thus, a new era began in early 2008 with a move to our modern, purpose-built premises in Elland, West Yorkshire. The company's product portfolio has widened, from simple glass fibre fabrics, to a wide range of industrial textiles, not only glass based, but produced also from Silica, Ceramic, or Aramid fibres. with a greater emphasis now more than ever on a growing range of coated and treated fabrics. By being able to offer a comprehensive range of high-temperature materials, THS’s reputation continues to grow as a company that gives solutions to technical problems. With our wide range of base fibres and finishes we can deal with temperature conditions from -60°C up to 1200°C, we are able to offer products for thermal protection, fire protection, welding protection, electronic, industrial composites, petrochemical, filtration, automotive and aerospace.
