TSEL has received international recognition by being awarded The Best Transaction Bangladesh by Finance Asia in 2018 for its very innovative and ground breaking structure; Asian Power Award 2018 in the category “Solar Power Project of the Year – Bangladesh." Our mission is to become one of the leading renewable energy producers in the country and make a significant contribution to the government’s sustainable development goals and be part of Bangladesh’s sustainable development initiatives to produce 10% of its energy mix from renewable sources. JPL is also actively exploring opportunities to integrate solar power installations with industry, agriculture and infrastructure, in order to find innovative solutions to pave the way forward for the sustainable growth and development of Bangladesh. Originally founded by Mr. Nuher Latif Khan, JPL was acquired by Expo Group in 2016. Expo Group is a renowned conglomerate in Bangladesh, operating for over 30 years in industries such as freight and logistics, RMG manufacturing, aviation services and infrastructure development among others.
