www.acsawater.comThe Augusta County Service Authority (ACSA) was chartered in March 1966 to centralize the provision of water and sewer service to County residents. The ACSA maintains 11 separate water systems, including seven microfiltration treatments systems, and a water distribution network comprised of over 417 miles of water mains and more than 2,030 fire hydrants. ACSA currently provides wastewater collection and conveyance through over 232 miles of mains, and treatment at four major facilities and five smaller facilities including the Middle River Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant, which is jointly owned by the Augusta County Service Authority and the City of Staunton. ACSA operates the Augusta Regional Landfill for Augusta County, the City of Staunton and the City of Waynesboro.
