Region Stavanger is a non-profit organisation working to promote the Stavanger region. The organisation was established in January 2004 and currently has more than 200 members in the region. Region Stavanger cooperates with Fjord Norway and Innovation Norway and is a member Norway Convention Bureau (NCB) as well as International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA). Region Stavanger is also responsible for running the tourist information offices in Stavanger and Sandnes.
