DatChem has been established to commercialize DatChem Data Intelligence (DDI). DDI is the first technology to apply advanced data analytic techniques to patented applications of magnetic resonance spectroscopy to assess a range of conditions. Importantly DDI is obtained on an existing MR scanner and is generic. DatChem is addressing four applications of DDI that come under the heading of women’s health. • Predicting breast cancer. A surgeon cannot predict the likelihood of cancer developing in an asymptomatic woman known to be at high risk of breast cancer. DDI can quantify the risk of her developing breast cancer by applying its unique intelligence to predictive chemical signatures. It is integrated with the routine breast MRI. • Diagnosing ovarian cancer. DDI accurately diagnoses ovarian cancer before surgery allowing the surgeon to plan and the woman to contribute to the decision-making processes. This cannot be done currently. • Emotional trauma leading to post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is now reported to occur twice as commonly amongst women as men. DDI has the capacity to diagnose and then monitor response to therapy for PTSD and chronic pain. It is the only objective test available
