Ilèkùn Wa, first founded and known as, Creative Milieu Consulting Group in 2015, now Ilèkùn Wa, meaning “our door” in the West African language of Yoruba. At Ilèkùn Wa, we view our doors as metaphors for the space in which many modern & contemporary Black artists occupy, liminality. Residing both inside and outside, Ilèkùn Wa is a space of trans-nationalism, third-culturalism, and a radical refusal to categorized oneself and our art practice as either, but rather, both or all. Ilèkùn Wa is an art business advisory firm facilitating & cultivating opportunities for artists of African descent to create, sustain & thrive.
