Tourism Currents® offers online and in-person training in social media and digital destination marketing for tourism, hospitality, and economic development. Launched in September 2009, the team is led by Sheila Scarborough and Leslie McLellan. We speak, do workshops and consulting, and run a self-paced online course that includes seven multi-part lessons and a private Facebook Group. Our team does a lot of work with small towns and rural areas in particular, helping them with tourism development, promotion, and marketing.
