Philosophers Camp
www.philosopherscamp.comIn 1858 in the Adirondack Mountains of NY, some of the most influential transcendentalists - an exclusive and brilliant group of philosophers, theologians, artists, diplomats, and scientists led by Ralph Waldo Emerson and William Stillman - gathered for a month on the shores of a lake, building shelter from resources available on the land. This was an amazing gathering of some of the best minds of their time. They consciously went into the wild to cross-pollinate ideas across disciplines, share fellowship, study, and to rejuvenate in harmony with their surroundings. Today, the Philosophers Camp is birthed again in those same Adirondack Mountains as an executive retreat experience for philosophers of all kinds -- thought leaders breaking and creating new paradigms for humanity, leading us into a new consciousness.
