Working in the historic preservation field as a conservator allowed me to become acquainted with, and grow a love and appreciation for historic buildings and documents. I realized while taking time to explore my art as a freelance artist and comservation educator, that we take for granted our experiences in life, our memories, our accomplishments and the adventures that we worked so hard to attain, as well as the beauty that surrounds us in our cities.
