The Spoonie Society was founded in Melbourne, Australia by Dominique Ribeiro Da Silva and Helene Hill. Dominique and Helene are very familiar with the suffering and stigma that is associated with having a chronic illness as they both suffer from Endometriosis and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, plus other chronic illnesses. They created a wearable wrap around heat pack as well as other functional products in order to make the day to day life of other Spoonies that bit more manageable. $1 of every purchase is donated to a different Charity each month
