Livanta is the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO) for Regions 2, 3, 5, 7, and 9 of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). As the BFCC-QIO, Livanta provides medical case review to support the rights of Medicare beneficiaries. BFCC-QIOs help beneficiaries with concerns about the quality of care and appeals of discharge from a health care facility.
