Imagine Me Stories is a monthly subscription box that aims to inspire and educate by providing quality black children's literature and African/black history activities. Why is this needed? Research shows that only 1% of children's books published in the UK have black main characters. Representation is vital to ensure that children see positive views of themselves and what they can achieve in society. We are here to make it easy to discover representative books and learn about key trailblazers and icons in the black community! Working with UK schools Imagine Me Stories also works with UK schools to help improve the diversity of their libraries to ensure they representative of the BAME students who attend.
