Established in 1996, Atlantic Symphony Orchestra is a professional regional orchestra, serving the communities of Greater Boston and the South Shore. ASO’s mission is to bring a professional orchestra of the highest quality to our region, provide excellent public performances and other events for the general community, and support the careers of musicians of outstanding merit. Our goal is to create engagement and meaningful connections to classical music and the people who make it, and from the stage to the seats and back again. We are here to build community through music and promote excellence in the arts. Under the artistic leadership of our internationally recognized music director and conductor, Jin Kim, ASO has become one of the premier regional orchestras in New England, known for its level of play. Members of the orchestra consist of both seasoned and gifted young professionals from the world’s leading conservatories.
