SHADY LADY was founded in January of 2018 by best friends Jacqui Karls and Mariel Armstrong. With over 20 years of combine experience in the fashion industry, the lethal combination set out to challenge the niche market of branded fashion eyewear. Historically, the eyewear industry serviced two distinct market segments; the luxury sector, and mass market off-the-rack eyewear. SHADY LADY intended to bridge the market gap offering well designed, trend driven branded eyewear for under $50. After 2 years of focusing on eyewear the next challenge was obvious - the launch of swimwear. The same price conscious/quality driven formula was applied and the swimwear took off like wild fire. 5 years later SHADY LADY has grown their product assortment with the launch of Sweatsuits, Outerwear and Sleepwear. The brand has been featured Jillian Harris' Jilly Box and has caught the attention of some of the worlds top influencers and celebrities. Our products are shipped worldwide thru our website as well as Nordstrom and various boutiques across North America.
