At The LIV Foundation we help the families of children with life-altering illnesses find a sense of normalcy when their lives are being torn apart. We help them live their lives, recover together and we honor their journey. We do so by doing three things: 1. Build awareness about pediatric illness 2. Build awareness around the importance of self-care and support for families of children who have life-altering illnesses 3. Deliver Swag Bags to children undergoing chemotherapy treatments at CHOP About 15% to 18% of children in the United States live with a chronic health condition. Some examples of chronic conditions include (but are not limited to): Asthma, Diabetes, Cerebral palsy, Sickle cell anemia, Cystic fibrosis, Cancer, AIDS, Epilepsy, Spina bifida, Congenital heart problems and Neurofibromatosis among others.
