Amår is a career fair at the Linnaeus university in Växjö, where around 70 exhibiting companies and 4000 visiting students get the chance to meet, network and create long-lasting relationships. During the fair, the exhibiting companies will get to meet ambitious students and recent graduates. In addition to presenting themselves in exhibition stands, companies are offered the possibility of conducting interview sessions with selected candidates. Visitors are provided the opportunity to interact with company representatives, as well as to attend interesting workshops and listen to inspiring speakers. As a grand finale, our fair is followed by a formal banquet, where company representatives and students can socialize in a festive environment. Amår is a completely student-driven project, consisting of a committee of 15 students who work for about a year to plan, conduct and follow up the fair. It also involves many other students who help out with the arrangements prior to and during the fair.
