As a freight transportation intermediary, we provide full load logistics throughout North America, arranging and coordinating the door-to-door movement of your freight via rail intermodal services and motor carrier services. Our seamless "3PL" service is provided with your satisfaction as our top priority. Genex, established in 1963, is located in the Chicago suburb of Glenview, Illinois. Our roots are firmly embedded in the intermodal industry. As a pioneering “shippers’ agent”, we took part in the early growth of the rail’s “piggyback” TOFC (trailer-on-flatcar) / COFC (container-on-flatcar) service. We recognized the benefits of domestic containerization and helped our shipper customers take advantage of that increasingly important option. We expanded our full load service by acquiring our highway brokerage license in 1992. We currently have nine staff members that have earned the TIA’s designation of “Certified Transportation Broker”. While our operations are centralized in the Chicago suburb of Glenview, Illinois, we service most any origin / destination pair throughout North America.
