The Oslo Films from the South Festival annually presents a wide selection of features, documentaries and short films from Asia, Africa and Latin America. Located in Oslo, it is Northern Europe’s leading festival dedicated exclusively to films from these three continents. Our main goal is to increase interest in films from these continents and to provide openings for regular distribution in the market. The Films from the South Festival was launched in Oslo in 1991. The 21st edition of the festival will take place October 6 - 16 October 2011.
