Mosaic Initiative is a non-profit NGO which, since 2012 has been delivering lifesaving humanitarian aid and implementing education programs inside conflict zones. In 2020 we have taken our experience in delivering education solutions for students who lost their schools to war and are focussing on the UK. Mosaic Initiative consists of a multinational management team of activists with expertise in the areas of humanitarian relief, human rights work, media and PR. Mosaic bases its activities and objectives on a large database of information around the needs of refugees in the UK, which is updated and maintained in cooperation with a number of other human rights organizations and associations. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, refugees are less likely to be in employment than individuals born in the UK and other migrant groups (https://www.compas.ox.ac.uk/wp-content/uploads/ECONREF-Refugees-and-the-UK-Labour-Market-report.pdf). Refugees in the UK are striving to meet their own needs and rebuild their bright futures. At Mosaic Initiative we are working to implement creative, durable solutions to support refugees in this journey and we are asking you to join us. Our Career Empowerment program begins this October. Digital Marketing industry experts have designed a dual-language (Arabic and English) course, to be delivered online to refugees in the UK. Eligible students will receive the digital marketing course, interview and CV skills training and the help of mentors to track their progress and access internship/employment opportunities. Our sponsor, Motif Agency and other partners provide support so that we can offer this program for free.
