EIB Global, part of the EIB Group, brings together our resources and expertise, for strong and robust cooperation outside the EU is bringing all the resources of the European Investment Bank to bear on its operations outside the European Union. The EIB Global teams, through our 28 offices, are working through efficient cooperation with our partners and beneficiaries, with development finance institutions and civil society. We are committed to building strong and focused partnerships worldwide and within Team Europe. Set up at the start of 2022, EIB Global is dedicated to: • delivering development finance more locally and through regional hubs • climate action and economic resilience, including through innovative investments considered too risky for commercial banks • spreading European Union goals for peace, security and sustainable living • working closely with the European Commission and all EU states outside Europe’s borders • helping women participate equally in society and business • creating financial tools and assistance for the communities where life is hardest EIB Global represents a new direction to increase the impact of limited development finance by mobilizing billions more in investment each year from the private sector and to meet the global goals of the EU and its partners. The EIB Global team is building strong cooperation with EU countries, non-governmental organizations, global development panels and economic forums.
