At the GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION, we promote the interests and special needs of data centre operators to policy makers, the media and society at large. We represent our members on relevant committees on legislation, regulations, rules, standards and political issues. We seek to improve the way the sector is perceived by society and the political class through sector-specific events and active public relations. We also provide a platform for high-level networking within the sector, allowing members to share professional information on market and technological trends. We wish to play an active role in developing standards and rules related to data centre design and initiate and carry out research projects on data centres. The GERMAN DATACENTER ASSOCIATION's declared aim is to make German locations more attractive for investment, improve the general conditions for operating data centres in Germany on a permanent basis, boost growth in the sector and enhance the way business, society and the political class perceive the sector.
