I produced The Making of Milwaukee, an Emmy Award-winning documentary, for Milwaukee PBS with historian John Gurda. The series had the highest viewership ratings in the nation during its premiere and it also broke all fundraising records during its pledge drive broadcasts. An update to the 5-1/2 hour series was produced recently and it won a Telly Award in 2018. John and I also produced a 2014 documentary about the importance of water to the development of the city of Milwaukee called, Milwaukee: A City Built on Water. This won a Milwaukee Press Club award in the documentary category in 2015. Smoking Monkey Media produced an award-winning documentary about the opioid crisis for WisconsinEye Public Affairs Network. It is currently being distributed through Wisconsin middle and high schools, free of charge. In addition to producing video projects, Anthony excels at writing, editing, illustration, animation, and acting. He is a bit of a renaissance man. Anthony wrote the hit, Cudahy Carolers, for In Tandem Theater, along with scores of short plays for Combat Theater. Currently, he is working on a musical directed at young adults. It is about the sensitive subject of teen suicide. We produced hundreds of segments for Milwaukee Public Television's series, including Outdoor Wisconsin, Arts' Place, Second Opinions.
