R. Titter Roofing started as a small unit of a company known as R.C. Titter Construction. The company's emphasis was on shingle roofs, siding, and windows. By 1986, we had incorporated and expanded our roofing capabilities to include installation of EPDM single ply roofing systems on some of our residential projects and small commercial projects. In 1990, we expanded again and formed a separate division to devote 100% of its energy to developing and expanding our commercial roofing business. Through the 1990's, we grew in size and expanded the types of commercial roofing systems we offered to include built up asphalt and metal roofing systems. By 2001, we had expanded our commercial roofing business footprint from the Philadelphia region to include areas in states such as Iowa, Alabama, New York, and North Carolina. Our residential shingle business continue to prosper, primarily through customer referrals, building our credibility as a quality residential roofing provider. As our commercial roofing business grew, it became apparent that the roofing division needed to stand separate from the construction company to better identify with our core business-roofing. In 2001 the roofing division formally separated from the construction company and R. Titter Roofing LLC was formed.
