Animals as Natural Therapy
www.animalsasnaturaltherapy.orgOur Mission: Improving mental & behavioral health through animal-guided programs and mentorship, with special attention to youth & veterans in NW Washington. Since 1999, Animals as Natural Therapy has helped thousands of individuals find hope through evidence-based mental health programs guided by horses and other animals. Our approach utilizes EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth & Learning), PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship), and EAP (Equine Assisted Psychotherapy) techniques to uniquely address a variety of needs including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and PTSD. ANT is a PATH International Premier Accredited Center, meeting the highest industry standards for equine-facilitated psychotherapy & and equine-assisted services. Our work is funded by community support - all programs are offered on a sliding fee scale that allows participants to pay what they can. Donations also help us care for our herd and open our hearts to new animals in need. Our farm is currently home to 25+ rescued & adopted horses, rabbits, chickens, goats and dogs.
