Established in 2021, Maison Joseph Duclos revives Enlightenment era savoir-faire and pays homage to the visionary entrepreneur Joseph Duclos who founded the Royal Manufacture in 1754 in Lectoure, France. Drawing inspiration from the unequalled savoir-faire of the epoch, the House crafts contemporary objects of authentic and intimate luxury. At the heart of the House is the art of fine leather, a material that is as noble as it is exacting. Under the impetus of artistic director Ramesh Nair, master craftsmen in France work leathers of rare quality, taking the time needed to craft fine leather goods in line with the principles of excellence, anchored in Enlightenment philosophy.
