Outward Bound is an international network of schools and the world’s leading provider of experiential learning programs in the wilderness. The concept was founded by the German educator Kurt Hahn over 75 years ago, and today Outward Bound schools and programs are spread across 33 countries and 40 centers worldwide. In India, Outward Bound was founded by Col. Narinder 'Bull' Kumar, the man who first planted the India flag on the Siachen Glacier in 1981. Kumar Post on the glacier at 16,000 feet is named after him, perhaps the only living soldier to have this honour. Established in 2005 as a non-profit company OBIH provides life-changing adventures that help you defy self-imposed limitations.
