CC is led by Karen Janody, a cultural entrepreneur with ideas and the drive to make them happen. Karen developed, commissioned and produced 'The Newspaper House' by Sumer Erek - Creative City Ltd's first project and an acclaimed success. She works with a portfolio of world-class cultural producers including the Artichoke Trust on Antony Gormley's One & Other and La Machine's Princess Spider, the Black-E art centre, NoFit State Circus, Wild in Art and Liverpool Lantern Company on Liverpool Discovers, Art Against Knives on OurSpace and SDNA video artists.
