The Anchor Project is a Seattle area 501(c)(3) Support Organization. Its mission is to enhance the services of nonprofit organizations mentoring Seattle at-risk youth aged 14-24 through the design and implementation of creative workshops and community service projects. Through "Create Workshops" centered on the arts and craftsmanship, such as photography, documentary film, social entrepreneurship and more, students learn skills to anchor their lives upon. The Anchor Project also acts as a link between organizations offering similar services, and between students and resources they can use to move beyond Anchor Project workshops into educational programs or future careers.
