We develope, manufacture and market innovative fiberoptic sensor systems. Based on our proprietary femtosecond laser process we fully-automatically produce Fiber Bragg Gratings (FBGs) and a unique FiSens Diffraction Grating directly into the core of a standard telecom fiber. Both components render a fully-integrated cost-effective sensing system enabling our customers to sense various measurands like temperature, strain, force and even 3D bending at arbitrary locations along the fiber. Being only as thick as a human hair FiSens sensing fibers can be easily integrated into any kind of objects conferring the capability to perceive its surrounding.
