A new brand set up in 2006 in Taiwan, AUSSMAK focuses on typical household, innovative, high-tech commercial lighting. Designing and developing in-house, we hold design and function patents for various items. Meeting demands for energy efficiency and eco-friendliness, we turn out green, energy-efficient,long-life, dimmable lighting using CCFLs (cold cathode fluorescent lamps) and LEDs (light emitting diodes), which are practical and versatile. LCD represents the perspective of High Tech, Eco-Friendly and Durable. Here we Aussmak applies the same technology of LCD (CCFL) into general lighting industry so that the revolutionary lighting product is called LCD lighting. The life time of fluorescent and CFL bulbs is determined by the rated life, which means that 50% bulbs will fail before the rated life. On the contrary, the 30,000 hour life time of LCD bulbs is obtained by using the MTTF (mean time to failure) which is a better metric than the rated life. It is the mean time expected until the first failure of a piece. Moreover, frequent switch on/off will shorten the life of fluorescent and CFL bulbs; however, it will not affect the life of LCD bulbs. Energy Saving To generate the same amount of lumens of light, the lamps that have higher efficiency of illumination require less power consumption. Since the efficiency of illumination of LCD bulbs is higher than Fluorescent bulbs and CFL bulbs’, the 13W LCD bulbs can generate the same brightness as 60W incandescent bulbs can.
