OCTANS AIRCRAFT is a high-tech company, strategically located in São Paulo - Brazil, which is one of the regions with the greatest technological development in Latin America. Since its founding in 2002, OCTANS has continuously invested in the development, design and manufacture of innovative products for the Aerospace market, meeting the highest standards of safety and quality required by international authorities such as ANAC, FAA and EASA. OCTANS is an 100% Brazilian company having manufactured and sold 240 aircraft during the period from 2002 to 2016. In 2015, the company decided to stop production of experimental aircraft and drove all efforts to the development of its new product, CYGNUS AIRCRAFT, which was presented to local market in 2019, at LABACE. CYGNUS first prototype made its first flight in Jan/20 and the operational testing campaign is expected to be concluded in Nov/20. Besides promoting CYGNUS sales, currently the company is also running the processes of developing partnerships for the certification of the new aircraft CYGNUS and to promote the company’s growth and consolidation as the major Brazilian manufacturer of small aircraft and one of the world’s most important players.
