The BOSS Business Supplies Charity was established to financially assist people and their families who have previously or currently work within the business supplies industry, who may have fallen on hard times, or are unable to work due to disability and ill health. Anyone who has ever worked in the industry for at least two years in whatever capacity, be it for a retailer, dealer, wholesaler or vendor, is eligible to apply to the Charity for financial assistance. The Charity has helped many people through the years from helping to pay for new windows, school uniforms for children, mobility items, plus regular housekeeping costs, amongst many others. The Charity is managed by a group of trustees who meet twice a year, and who also help to raise funds. This is supported by regional BOSS committees, who also help to raise awareness and funds at their events.
