Our Story Founded in 1998 by May Luong, Carrie Amber Intimates has been designing and manufacturing intimate apparel for over two decades. What began as a one-woman business that started in May’s garage has today evolved into a global company through her innate ability to identify trends and translate her vision into enduring collections. Growing up in her family’s garment manufacturing business in Los Angeles, designing and making her own clothing as a teenager, May’s interest in fashion was no accident. May later pursued a career in real estate and import/export trading, but eventually quit to pursue her true passion and launched Carrie Amber Intimates in 1998. What We Do We provide wholesale and retail businesses with access to one of the industry’s largest collection of intimate apparel, shapewear, sleepwear, activewear, and swimwear covering the juniors, contemporary, missy and plus size markets. We offer comprehensive design services and are fully equipped to cater to all market needs including customized design, development, packaging, photography, and branding.
