Pnyca is a platform that aims to enable direct democracy in local and national levels, through civic engagement in the form of live referendum and pitching of ideas to improve communities. Users can create and participate in causes related to their voting rights and surroundings, through community groups and direct proposals for projects they care about. Aiming to create the possibility for scaling up direct democracy and bringing back civic engagement to the people the way it was initially conceived, just like it took place in Ancient Athens, on the Pnyka aka Pnyx, the Agora where direct democracy was birthed.
