The United Way of Kennebec Valley serves the community by identifying human care needs, raising and allocating funds to meet those needs, and encouraging volunteers to participate in community service. As a nonprofit organization, we partner with 50 local programs to provide a better quality of life for those in need across 19 towns in Kennebec County. Our primary investment areas are basic needs, health care, youth/education, and financial stability. Typically, more than 20,000 lives a year are improved through United Way-funded programs.
