A credit union established by the employees of Iowa Electric in 1956 to provide savings and loans to members and family. Became Best of Iowa Community Credit Union with community charter in 1995 which allowed anyone who lives or works in Linn County or contiguous coutnies to become members. Has a branch office in Vinotn opened in January, 2008. The credit union has 16 full time employees and 5 part time employees. It has 4,329 members and assets of $45 million.
