Hourglass is a multidisciplinary organization building a better world for artists. Hourglass is known for its award-winning, maximalist pop-up shops, which won Best of Boston Pop-Up in 2019. Since launching as a small artist studio in 2018, Hourglass has created pop-ups around Boston and online, launched an independent publishing house called Hourglass Press, and created a consulting services division focused on building healthy creative economies. We are based in Boston, and our digital community is global. We have personally hugged and DMed and chatted with and made art with thousands of people, and we are just getting started.
